2007 HAS BEEN THE NOST EXCITING YEAR TO DATE FOR MEATCAMP PRODUCTIONS

We have found a new home for Camp Bisco, started our environmental festival The Echo Project, added some great new names to our new band management sector, and have officially broken in our ticketing sector UpperHand Solutions. We are planning on an even bigger 2008, because of the great success of 2007 many doors have begun to open for us and we now have access to an even wider selection of talent, which is guaranteed to surprise even the most veteran MeatCamp fan. Our goals for 2008 include providing you the fan, with one of the best electronic lineups in North America for Camp Bisco. Providing a new and forward thinking environmentally conscious event with some of the worlds greatest talent and creative art elements. We are aiming to get both of these events planned and announced early enough so that everyone has time to plan on taking time away form their busy schedules to come and enjoy two of America’s most forward thinking events. On top of these two staples of the MeatCamp repertoire, we have several other events and festivals in the works so keep your eyes peeled for upcoming announcements. Please use our contact link to ask any question, give us any feedback, or just to say hi. We are truly looking forward to a bright 2008 and we hope to see you there!

EVEN MORE ADDITIONS TO CAMP BISCO VI

We have some exciting artist announcements to make for Camp Bisco 6. We studied the already stellar lineup and decided that we would fill in a couple of the gaps. With over 25 artists already announced, we are thrilled for this year's event and are proud to call it the best lineup that we've assembled yet! With Simon Posford already attending Camp Bisco with Hallucinogen in Dub, why stop there! Simon will be performing a Shpongle DJ Set, which will surely be one of the highlights of the weekend. Currently producing tracks for The Disco Biscuits upcoming album, Simon has spent this summer playing shows all over the world. We're thrilled to be the East Coast stop for Shpongle this summer. The Twisted Crew continues, as OTT will be performing a DJ Set. OTT is the other half of Hallucinogen in Dub, along with his Twisted Records partner Simon Posford. OTT's previous work has included producing/engineering albums for Brian Eno, The Orb, Sinead O'Conner & Shpongle (just to name a few). In recent years, OTT has branched out as a recording artist and DJ. A first time performer at Camp, this set is sure to be one for the ages. We just didn't feel right without including some good old foot stompin' Rock and Roll. Nobody playing music today says rock and roll more than Scott Metzger and Joe Russo, the core of Bustle in your Hedgerow, also featuring Dave Dreiwitz of Ween, and for this special performance, Jamie Shields of the New Deal. Bustle recreates the music of Led Zeppelin, and they do it incredibly well. They have rocked packed clubs and festival crowds for the past couple of years. Between Russo's beats, Metzger's licks, Dreiwitz's precision, and Jamie's unique melodic approach, this is going to be a one hell of a set. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Lyrics Born brings his hip-hop flavor to the Camp Bisco Stage. He will be backed by a seven-piece band, which will surely add even more energy to his already anticipated set. He was recently seen on tour and heard on Galactic's new hip-hop album, "From The Corner To The Block." Last but certainly not least, straight from Connecticut, The Breakfast will be bringing their progressive, funk rock sound to their first Camp Bisco. The Jammy Award winning trio has spent the last year touring across the country in support of their last release, Moxie Epoxy. The band's ability to mix up a wealth of styles and feed of their influences, combined with the pure talent and raw energy put out at every show make The Breakfast a band not to be missed.
